Whitney Houston and Dana Bash
Whitney Elizabeth Houston was born to a musical family on August 9th, 1963. She was born in Newark New Jersey the daughter of gospel star Cissy Houston (nee Emily Lee Drinkard) and John Russell Houston Jr. and cousin of singing star Dionne Warwick. When she was a little girl, Houston began singing professionally with her church's choir. Houston sang the backing vocals for Chaka Khosns 1978 single Im Every Woman with her mom. The singer went on to sing backing vocals for Jermaine and Lou Rawls as well as her mother, and also did a brief stint as models for the cover of Seventeen magazine in 1981. The singer was first a featured vocalist for the New York-based New York Funk band Material. The quality of her vocal work earned her the attention of big record labels like Arista which she joined in 1983. Whitney Houston, her debut album released in 1985, was the top-selling album of the debut artist. Many hit songs, including Saving All My Love For You How Do I know You Give Good Love as well as The greatest Love of All were released on the album. They set her up to smash the Beatles record with seven consecutive US top 10s. The album's debut US year the album sold over 3 million units. After that, it was to be listened to by more than millions of people around the world and earned her her first Grammy. The Whitney album from 1987, which featured the songs The Bodyguard, I Wanna Dance With Somebody and Where Do Broken Hearts Get to, continued her success. It is The Bodyguard of 1992 that made her one of the top-selling performers in the history of music. Although her performance in the film as well as its soundtrack weren't appreciated however, the Dolly Parton cover I Will Always Love You and the accompanying album topped charts all over the world for several months. The same year that she welcomed her daughter Bobbi she married Bobby Brown of the ex-New Edition group. Her daily consumption of the drug was well-documented.
Dana Bash also known as Dana Ruth Schwartz is an American reporter anchorwoman and political reporter for CNN. The shows she hosts on weekends are Evans & Novak Late Edition, Inside Politics and Inside Politics. When it comes to distinctions and awards Bash was previously included in the Women in Washington Power List which was published by Elle magazine. Bash is highly regarded for her incredible abilities as a reporter/an anchor. This George Washington University grad is the most loving mom to her one child. She is single and had two marriages.
